   Mrs. M. Lou Feemster;
                        Darling Wife;
                                     I have been looking pretty confidently, for the last two days, for your arrival here; but the necessity still exists for me to scribble in order to communicate with you.  I thought if you did not come, you would write immediately and let me know your conclusion.  But I suppose I will certainly hear from you in two or three days.
    I read your two letters, both mailed on the 6th, at noon on the 8th, and wrote you that night, and it ought to have reached Enterprise on the night of the 9th.  I really think if you intend to leave that place any time soon it would be well for you to do so as soon as you can with any sort of convenience, for we do not know what day the roads may be taken up entirely by the govt for the transportation of soldiers or stores.  I would be relieved of a great deal of anxiety if you were back here, that is, if I were sure you'd be content
