Description	Receipt for ten bales of cotton exchanged in Choctaw County, Mississippi, by L. W. Barfield (possibly Louisa, wife of Willis Barfield) for bonds from the Confederacy. The cotton was to be delivered to the depot at Winona. Signed by Willis Barfield. On the back, Madison Fisk Ames notes that the cotton was reported burned. 1863.
