Dear Ellen,
I will write you a few lines this evening. All are well now. Ma waz sick since last week, and Frank has been very sick. Saturday week we waz afraid he could not live. He waz perfectly prostrate in two or three hours, looked like he had been sick a month. He is better now seems almost well. His Ma has weened him. Sister Abbie and Billie got home Saturday night[.] The babie waz sick several days before she came, and is not well yet. She enjoyed herself very much, stayed in camp all the time, spent one day in town with Tallon and one with Miz Ervin. Eliza came to see her twice. Laura and aunt Jane are in Columbus. Laura spent one day all day until after supper with sister Abbie. She wanted to stay all the time out there but her babie waz sick and Dr. Izard could not
