Dear Lit,
I must write you a few lines by Jack. I am very much obliged to you for those things you sent. They are all so nice, and will be quite valuable to me. Yet, I am really sorry you took time to do the work when you have so much to do. I hope you will take a good long rest now.
It is said to be very unhealthy for a lady to sew very constantly on those machines. I should think by giving an hour or two a day to it you might keep it done up.
