Transcript	Punta Gorda B.H. [British Honduras] Oct 30th 1894 C.A. Williams Dry Grove Miss Dear Friend: You will I know be ver [sic] much surprised to hear from me after these many years. I have often thought of you, and wondered how you were getting along and why you have never married one of the many nice girls we used to visit. While I was in the States I thought [page 2] seriously of paying you a visit. All that kept me from it was having the long trip to myself You are no doubt aware that I am a wealthy man now[.] I married one of the prettyest [sic] sweetest and smartest girls that the sun ever shone on in any clime. We have been married three years the 5th of last Sept. but still we wate [sic] and pray for an adition [sic] to our little household. We returned to the Tropics last Nov after a pleasent [sic] stay of [page 3] nine months in God's country as the Americans here term it. I liked the cost very much but the lands are so poor and if any one intends to farm I advise them to go somewhere else. I have determined to go to the States in two years for good. I will not be able to determine where I will locate untill [sic] I look around further than in some thriving town as my wife will not be persuaded to live anywhere else[.] Has Terry improved any within the last 8 years? [page 4] Tell me something about your ajoining towns & their improvements[.] What has become of all the young bloods around D.G.? Where is W.V.S. I suppose he has been admited [sic] to the bar? Where is T. Broadwater & C.W.C.? Give your mother and sisters my best regards[.] Write soon and give me all the news. Your friend L. K. Hill
