Dry Grove Sep 15th 1913
My dear Child,
I hasten to answer your letter you are mistaken in my assigning a part of my interest to some firm of lawyers over in Texas to bring suit to contest Billie's will. I have never signed a paper of any kind, I wrote Dan Banks he could do as he thought best about the case I thought that if the lawyers would take it for half I did not care because if I got anything out of it I would feel that it was just like picking it up in the road
