Transcript	O 21st [1878] Well Bryant We never got any mail today by the line, and we will now have to send our mail down as far as the Quartine [sic] line near Crystal Springs from this time and Col Holt says he will only send every other day, so we cant [sic] hear from you until tomorrow We are all well and getting along very well I beleve [sic] evry [sic] body that was sick at Judges are up. There are no new cases in this neighborhood nor do I think there will be. I understand to day the sick at Lebanon are doing very well, they have had a tough time of it there You wrote me enquiring about your Beds & Bedclothing you have some quilts sheets blanketts [sic] and I think one mattrass [sic] left. [page 2] When they were all sick down on your Pa's place Tom Caston came to me to get the key of the House said they were down there lying on feather beds that the Dr said was wrong and that they must get mattrasses [sic] & gave Tom the key and He got them and Henry tells me that they are burnt[.] We also got one matrass [sic] from there that I had to burn we also got 2 quilts, 1 Blankett [sic] 2 sheets and one pillow slip, which are all right we have had them washed. Aunt Jane Dennis has one mattrass [sic] and some quilts and Blankets. I will send you the list of things they took when they left[.] I saw Fannie about the scowering [sic] it is all right and as soon as Dr leaves I will go over and see to it myself[.] all send love to all Cal W. [in margin] Write to me when you want to come & I will help you
