Dear Mims:
I was in Jackson a few days since and some one told me, at the Miss- Colten Oil Co., that the W.C. Ellis Co had liquidated, and gone out of business.
I feel very much interested to know what you expect to do.
The outlook in our afflicted Country is indeed gloomy, but it is not so in many other parts of the county. The opportunity in many parts of our vast Country are as bright as they ever were. And as much can be accomplished as there ever has been.
I realize that I am not so young as I was a few years back, and that my health is not so good as it was
