Dear John -
This is another one of those hurriedly written "reports," and if you think I am too
presumptuous in thus forcing my concern of things upon you, please don't hesitate to say
so - I'll understand.
Since writing you last I have made many contacts which have strengthened my
original _____ and views. Among these men, all of whom are against the
"pressures" from the "top," are such person as John (Lampkin?), Lowry Love, (Lena?) Brock,
Bob (Lambaugh?), R.C. Russell, Jessee (Hawks?), and I am told Charles Hamilton and Jesse Byrd.
I believe you will agree with me that these people, and the Carl Craigs, are a good
index.
