Dear Sen. Stennis;
I am writing to you to ask a favor, cant you Sen. from the south or Miss. git
Lyndon Johnson to call of his crup of C.R. - worker home from Miss. some of these
white preachers who came to Hattiesburg, lived with the negroes - 3 or 4 15 year old
girls got in family way by them, so you can see what sort of trash is coming to Miss. I
have voted a XXXXXX over sinse I was abroad to vote, but this year I am voting for
XXXXXXX, I thank he is the best man who ever ran for Pres. He worked for me so I
should be able to give him my vote. Johnson doesn't need or want a White Southerner
vote all he wants is the negro vote - I could let you read some of my books on
