Dear Senator:
The enclosed is sent to you with the hope that you may find even one point to
bring out in case of a filibuster!
We'd like to know too just why they are trying to enforce segregation in Palestine
among races more nearly equal and of the same time trying to abolish segregation here?
Congratulations on the way you are fighting such a big job. We are proud of you.
My neighbor, Mrs. XXXXXXXX, one of your especial advisers, fell recently and
broke her hip. She is in house in a rocking chair and hopes to be walking again before too
long.
With prayers for the guidance of you who hold the destiny of our great country in
your hands, and very best wishes, I am
Sincerely,
XXXXXXX
Columbus, Miss.
