Dec. 11.1846- Mr. Aaron Spell, Lexington, Miss- Dear Sir- Yours of 13th ulto. was duly rec'd by mail and its contents having been duly considered and submitted to Mr. Nathan: Under his instruction I proceed to reply:- That at no time has any request or indulgence been refused you hitherto; in consideration of the great blight that has befallen the crops the present season, and your exertions to do what is right, and my testimony in your behalf, he will accede to your proposition; and will wait another year for you to close your indebtedness:- and that you now have timely notice must put your shoulder to the wheel, and be prepared to close the business there without fail.
