Transcript	Port-Gibson Jany 31st 1831 Know all men by these present that for and in consideration of the sum of [struck: twenty five hundred] ^five thousand Dollars I have this day bargained sold and delivered to Jno. P. Darden the following negroes viz Ruben William Henry Family and Jane. I hereby warrant said negroes Slaves for life and also I warrant the title against all claims or claimants whatever. But I do not warrant them sound either in body or mind, given under my hand this day and date above mentioned Wm H. Browning {seal}
