I, Martin Banks, promise and agree to pay C.A. Williams one fourth of all the crops to be planted and raised by me during the year 1896 (except what is grown on about one acre in back) for rent of 30 acres of land in the field opposite the B.L. Coker house, and being the same land marked by me during the year 1895, and 11 acres in the field on the north side of the Learned and Dry Grove public road, and the portion lying next to the B.L. Coker place.
Witness my hand this the 14th day of December 1895.
