Description	Late in the 1920s, the Edison Company produced a series of COMBINATION type radio-phonographs. This C-2 is such an example. The C-1 was the most expensive model, and is extremely rare today. The C-2 was designed for the upper middle class and contained an electric turntable and played the Diamond Discs and lateral cut records. It also included an RCA radio. Existing examples of this scarce phonograph, which was made for only a few months before the Edison Phonograph company closed in 1929, are thought to number in the dozens.
